Cube GUI plugins

The Cube GUI can be extended with additional functionality and views via a plugin machanism. Here we provide a set of EXPERIMENTAL plugins which can be built and installed alongside the Cube GUI. The source code is distributed under the 3-clause BSD license, see the license agreement for details.

Score-P/Intel compiler filter creation plugin.

This plugin allows to build/edit a filter file while exploring an experiment by selecting regions or files to be included or excluded in the filtering process. It can store the created filter file in Score-P format (.flt) or as an Intel compiler filter file (.ifl).

Simple OTF2 trace explorer

If the experiment archive directory contains an OTF2 trace, this plugin allows to browse it and study the communication patterns. Suitable only for small traces.

This plugin allows to display correlations between metrics as a parallel bar charts distribution across the system tree.

CallGraph

Call graph display

This plugin builds a call graph based on the call tree, and assigns the metric values to the edges. Allows to detect critical calls in the program execution.

TAU Value View

TAU value display

This plugin displays statistical data of the metric, collected using TAU format as a small barplot in the tree view. Allows to get an overview over the value distribution.
